riso Alice ViazzoIn September, the rice fields become amber yellow: this is the sign that the rice is ripe. After threshing (collection) and drying, paddy rice or raw rice is processed in the rice mill.

The first step, the husking, removes the outer covering, the hull. The brown rice is obtained, rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals.

In the second phase, bleaching, with a mechanical abrasion system, the bran and the germ, items in fat, are removed.

Spearted from the broken grains, the white rice kernels are finally ready to be cooked.
