Riseria Giuseppino Viazzo has its roots in the Vercelli region, dating back to when grandfather Pietro opened a small mill with the company’s first license. The year was 1922, and that moment marked the beginning of a history of expertise and innovation spanning four generations. A state-of-art processing line and a certified quality system guarantee a product of excellence.

Since that first rice mill, innovation has never stopped. After moving locations a few times, the company settled in Tricerro in the 1950s, where it remains today. The current headquarters, built in 2006 and constantly expanded, is led by Roberto Viazzo and his daughter Alice, the fourth generation of the family.

The production plant processes up to 6 tons per hour thanks to a constantly updated processing line, which ensures high quality and hygienic-sanitary standards throughout all stages of processing.
To support this commitment, Riseria Viazzo adopts an Integrated Management System for Quality and Food Safety and a Certified Internal Traceability System.

In 2011, the company took a major step toward sustainability with the installation of a 92 kW photovoltaic system, followed by another 200 kW system in 2022, to partially produce the energy required for processing activities.

Over the last 10 years, the production site has undergone continuous expansions and upgrades: the warehouse and offices were enlarged, doubling the available space. New machinery and control systems were introduced to further strengthen the monitoring of processing and packaging, confirming a constant focus on quality, safety, and innovation. In 2024, the vacuum and MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) line was finalized, completing the range of different packaging options. Looking ahead to 2026, the year for the construction of new raw material storage silos.
